You have probably heard about this already, if not, its mind blowing,
From the Las Vegas Sun
The medical director and majority owner of the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada, where apparent negligence has triggered the largest hepatitis C scare in Nevada history, is one of the state’s most prominent physicians.
He is Dr. Dipak Desai, a former member of the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners who has served as chief of gastroenterology at local hospitals and taught at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Desai was not present when the Southern Nevada Health District announced during a news conference Wednesday that his staff members had contaminated patients with the blood of others.
Health officials said the staff commonly used the same syringe more than once on a single patient while administering anesthesia and used single-dose vials of medicine on more than one patient.
This flawed process could allow a virus from the first patient to contaminate the vial and then be transferred to another patient who received medicine from the same vial.
At the news conference to notify patients of the risks, Desai’s business was represented by three doctors and a public relations expert.
Desai did not respond to the Sun’s request for comment. The question that would have been asked of him: How, in the era of AIDS and extreme concern about contamination of patients through the use of needles and syringes, could his employees have allowed the transgressions that will now require that 40,000 patients be notified that they should be tested for hepatitis C, hepatitis B and HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
The state can fine the Endoscopy Center a maximum of $1,000 for each of three types of violations, Jones said, but licensing agencies such as the Board of Medical Examiners and the Nevada State Board of Nursing could investigate the problems to penalize the various providers.
Health Warrior Says: Given the gravity of the situation, minimum fines addressed, and Dr Desais relationship with the board as well as the educational system and those “in the know” you have to question what his intent was and if he really feared or fears much financial loss or even loss of licensure.
Absoulutely disgusting and inexcusable!

We will be giving much more direction on the remediation techniques that we have been doing to our home under Vastu guidelines, and let me say, it has been quite extensive.
Yesterday though we actually remediated the body of water behind our home.
First let me explain, remediation is basically taking a toxic, weakening energy and making it stronger, actually so it “give back”
We test this through our practice of kinesiology. First we tested the lake—weak!
We then added 1 1b of hydrazyme in 2 quarts of water. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the probiotics to grow, and then divided in two and threw the liquid out in two different directions.
We then retested, and truly to our surprise, it made us stronger.
Watch out Lake Michigan, here we come!

An exerpt from a wonderful book, Vastu Transcendental Home Design In Harmony With Nature
“Enjoy your meals in a serene, attractive setting with artwork that you like, unchipped dishes, and flatware that fits your hand. The whole experience should be aesthetically pleasing. Food is more nourishing when you sit comforably, eat with awareness, and take time to enjoy the flavor instead of eating on the run. There is an expression in India, “Food is Brahman,” which means that food is the divine wholeness bestowed upon you. Eating with awareness allows you to honor the gift of the food, which is often taken for granted. Food is one of the main sources from which we obtain prana. Eating with awareness allows you to absorb more of the prana from the food. So drop the hectic, busy pace of life, at least while you are eating. Take an attitude of mindfulness and consider the food as prasad, a gift from the divine intended to nurture your inner and ourter development and your ability to flourish in life.”
Health Warrior Says: Well put Sherri. This is something that is so often overlooked as we eat on the run, multi tasking or even with the television infiltrating our peace.

From Reuters
French authorities have opened a formal investigation into two managers from drugs groups GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur over a vaccination campaign in the 1990s, a judicial source said late on Thursday.
The investigations follow allegations that the companies failed to fully disclose side effects from an anti-hepatitis B drug used in a vaccination campaign between 1994 and 1998.
There was no immediate comment from the companies or the two managers involved.
From 1994 to 1998, almost two thirds of the French population and almost all newborn babies were vaccinated against hepatitis B, but the campaign was suspended after concerns arose about possible secondary effects from the treatments.
Some 30 plaintiffs have launched a civil action in the case, including the families of five people who died after vaccination.
Health Warrior Says: In the United States it is actually recommended that all newborns receive the Hepatitis B Vaccine. When Hepatitis B is spread through sexual contact, blood transfusions, & sharing IV needles, can you tell me one good reason why a newborn is receiving this, especially when they do not have a fully formed immune system or biliary tree which helps detoxify these “venoms”.

If you look back on past posts, Regis of Regis and Kelly (the morning TV show) has been complaining of the pain in his arm since his flu shot a few months back.
He is saying now he cannot even lift his arm to exercise.
This is not a minor thing. This has to be addressed. Time to mudpack and detoxify.
This on top of the news of totally missing the flu strain in the vaccine this year should only lead people to realize that not only has the flu vaccine never been proven to be effective, but can be downright detrimental.
Gelman even told Regis that only a nerve was hit and he will be getting the flu shot next year.
RUN REGIS, RUN!

When I was doing my clinical rounds for pharmacy at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, curiously I never found much information on the teaching hospitals namesake…the father of homeopathy. I understood that I was there for allopathic medicine, although when I questioned my instructors if we will be learning anything in regards to homeopathy and the treatment of patient care, I was looked at like I had two heads.
“The highest ideal of therapy is to restore health rapidly, gently, permanently; to remove and destroy the whole disease in the shortest, surest, least harmful way, according to clearly comprehensible principles.”
Samuel Hahnemann, Organon, 6’th ed.
The above statement by pharmacist and physician, Samuel Hahnemann, is the beauty of homeopathy. Homeopathy is an exceptionally safe and effective form of medicine that treats the whole individual, is applicable to all ages, and is tremendously under utilized.
Due to the significance of dilution behind homeopathy, there is generally no fear of drug interactions, thus is safe to take in almost any situation. Most homeopathic preparations are diluted down to the point where the active ingredient is no longer physically detectable.
The term homeopathy comes from two Greek words, omia (meaning “same”), and pathos (meaning “suffering”). What this means is that a homeopathic remedy is one that produces the same symptoms as those the sick person complains of, and in doing so sharply provokes the body into throwing them off.
This leads to the basic principle of homeopathy…The Law of Similars or “like cures like.” The Law of Similars states that a given substance in high doses will cause a set of symptoms, and the same substance can be used to treat those symptoms in lower doses.
Let me give you a few examples. An individual who has been stung by a bee experiences pain and inflammation, a stinging feeling. A remedy for this can be Apis mellifica, the honey bee.
Another example is for people who have trouble sleeping. The homeopathic of coffee, cofea cruda, can be a remedy of choice.
A common one we use to help alleviate hot flashes is lachesis mutas. This is the homeopathic of venom of a snake. What are the symptoms of a snake bite? Hot, burning constricted feeling.
To begin using homeopathy, it is easy. You can find homeopathic remedies at most health food stores and some pharmacies as well. A few common brands you can expect to find our boiron and hylands. Because homeopathic remedies are closely controlled under the FDA, homeopathic preparations can make a claim as if what they can treat. For example if you were to pick up a tube of arnica you would see on the side that is says “Trauma, Bruises, and Muscle Soreness.”
To hone in a step further you could purchase a repertory. A repertory is an index of symptoms and systems of the body with remedies that affect the system listed under each heading.
For example, if I pick up The Family Guide to Homeopathy by Dr. Andrew Lockie, and I look up Bronchitis. I will then look for the exact symptoms the individual is experiencing. I dial into a symptom description that parallels that of the individuals such as “symptoms get worse lying down or in stuffy rooms, cough is dry at night but loose in morning, lack of thirst.” The remedy points to pulsatilla 6c.
For those dealing with chronic disease states or really want to dial in a specific condition and see what a qualified homeopathic practitioner can do, contact the National Center for Homeopathy or the International Foundation for Homeopathy.

To empower your health, thus empower your life, it is paramount to take into account certain health freedoms that might be taken away. If you have not yet, please visit www.savemymedicine.org and below you will find the latest post on the measures they are taking to save customization of bio-identical hormones.
Update: Congress Hears from Thousands of Bioidentical Hormone Patients!
And the Fight Continues!
Dear robert:
Last month, the FDA and Wyeth took a major step to restrict women’s access to bioidentical hormones.
In response, P2C2 launched an effort to help women ask their members of Congress to save their access to compounded bioidentical hormones. In just the first 24 hours, more than 2,000 people took action. To date, more than 8,100 people have written letters.
This is a strong start, and OUR MESSAGE IS GETTING THROUGH!
If you wrote a letter, you may have received a response from FDA. If so, click here to read why what the FDA is saying in those letters is misleading.
We are moving into the second phase of our campaign to save your access to bioidentical hormones. As part of this, we are working with our allies on Capitol Hill to make a strong statement in support of bioidentical hormones.
We will need your help, so look for an update from P2C2 in the coming weeks with information on how you can stay involved!
When Wyeth asked FDA to take this action two years ago, 70,000 people wrote to the FDA and asked them to reject this policy. That was a tremendous record-breaking response, but FDA ignored women and listened to Wyeth!
That’s why we’re taking our message to Congress this time… and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Stay tuned to http://www.savemymedicine.org/ to ensure you’re up to date on the latest BHRT news!
