Remember Flu Mist?  The intranasal flu vaccine that was basically a bomb a few years back.

It turns out the makers, MedImmune, says it will be tripling production for the next flu season and working with schools to promote its nasal spray, officials said on Thursday.

This would be increasing production from 4 million to 12 million next year.

The company said it has a more secure market for its vaccine after Wednesday’s decision by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices to recommend annual flu vaccination for virtually all U.S. children.(see our previous post on this)

Health Warrior Says: Once again we are being driven by greed which a market allows.  They will be selling this on convienence, but keep in mind as reported back in 2003 Flu Mist had MSG in it.  I dont know about you but aside from lack of valid evidence, I dont want a shot of MSG going to my childs brain.
