Keeping You Up To Date on BHRT and Congress

P2C2 would like to thank all those who participated recently in the BHRT National Congressional Call-In Day on Sept. 10, 2008. The call-to-action was a resounding success!
Final Results
More than 25,000 pharmacists, patients and prescribers called their members of Congress on Sept. 10 to make the case for estriol. Motivated callers contacted members of Congress in 48 states.
There is no doubt that this one-day phone blitz has made an impact on our congressional leaders and will further our progress in protecting access to estriol. Because of the collective effort made on Sept. 10, IACP has been inundated with requests from Hill staffers for more information on BHRT and estriol. We are confidant that the final result will be more co-sponsors for S. Con. Res. 88 and H. Con. Res. 342 — and an ultimate reversal of FDA policies that restrict access to estriol.
Thank you to all who made the calls. But we are not done! There is still much work ahead.
