How Powerful our Subconscious?

Ok, so Amy and I have always written that there is a lot more to health, than just the things we do and foods we eat.  Heck our book is even about how our beliefs affect emotions which affect thoughts and then actions, and voilla…your health served to you on a silver (and sometimes tarnished) platter.

It makes you think that every thing in our existence, affects everything in our lives…could it be true?  The people we hang with, the books we read, movies we watch, work we do, types of exercise we partake in,,,, and on and on and on, could be directly affecting how happy we are, how much money we make, how healthy we are, basically everything!

I had a little example the other night, and here is how it goes.  I don’t know, whatever night it was, I finished up my work and was watching the tv show criminal minds.  Its kind of who done it, action, makes ya think, addictive kind of show.  Anyway it was based around a serial killer (I know, I know, totally bad for the psyche, and I wont be watching it any more—practice what you preach, right?)

Well, the next day on the internet was an updated picture of the 60’s/70’s cult leader/murder orchestrator, Charles Manson and what he looks like today.  It was an updated photo released by the California State correctional institution.  So I glanced at the picture for like, 3 seconds, and on I went, that was it.

Well that night I had the worst dream.  Charles Mansion escaped prison and was hunting me and others down.  It was totally terrifying, all from watching about 20 minutes of an hour long tv show and seeing a pic on the internet…the power of the subconscious, the power of the mind.

Moral of the story:  Feed to your conscious and subconscious exactly what you want out of life, not what you dont want, and everything that is a part of your life matters.   Everything matters!
